Tsunamis of South India

Tsunamis have hit South Indian west and east coasts in the years 1881, 1883 and in 1941. The most recent and the most damaging tsunami is of course the tsunami of December 26, 2004.

To understand how the tsunami had interacted with these two coasts of South India, is the main purpose of this blog.

This we shall start with a 3 dimensional model of the sea bed around South India.
